What do you use to do light metal cutting with a torch?

I have a 360 plasma torch what seetting for tin, thin sheet metal with out slag, or we have a actolyn torch what is the smallest head size do I need or can I use propane with cutting tip? Is there a web site for teaching or cles in the Portland Oregon area or basic self teaching book.
