How did Jesus ascend to Heaven in the flesh when Paul says flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God?

The actual answer is that flesh and BLOOD cannot; flesh and bone can! After Jesus' resurrection, when He appeared to the Apostles, Jesus had Thomas thrust his hand into His side to prove that He had a physical (but now immortal) body of flesh and bone (as He stated He had).; blood is a condition of mortality- blood gives mortal life; immortal bodies are animated by the Light of Christ which gives immortal life.
