10 points poem questions that deals with the poem, please answer it particularly!?

I don't get it! Who is this Ted Hughes? Is he a published poet? If so, it begs the question: WHY? My only positive critique is that it flows to some extent, but other than that, it lacks all the fundamentals of poetry.
