What is a new covenant church

"New Covenant" is basically a "buzz word". As far as I know it does NOT refer to a specific denomination, it is a phrase used by independent, non-denominational churches that govern themselves according to the "new covenant" God established with the world through Jesus. It is a direct reference to several pages in Hebrews and one in Jeremiah. In essence it is a Christian reference.
