Skate Sharpening zigzag lines?

i have nike bauer one35s and i realize that sometimes when i sharpen it at a famous hockey pro store, i end up with little zig zag lines on the bottom of the skate blade. I read on the internet the lines were suppose to be straight but i tried it on the ice and it felt okay. Im just wondering if the small zig zag lines are a big deal and will they actually affect your skating?
