Baby sleeping FACE DOWN?

My son use to do the same thing, and it would drive me crazy. I thought he was going to suffocate himself. No matter how many times I would roll him over or move his face, the next time I would go check on him his face was down. Nothing I did worked, the wedge doesn't work because they can move out of it, moving their head doesn't work because they put it right back. My son is now 10, and still sleeps with his face down in the pillow, and it still drives me crazy.
